Saving a Dying Tiny Kitten
It was a rainy day when we found her, tiny and fragile, laying on the wet road. She was just a few weeks old, barely weighing a pound. Her body was intact, but she seemed to have suffered from a terrible trauma. We couldn’t tell what had happened to her, whether she fell or was hit by a passing vehicle. All we knew was that she needed help, and fast.
We ever so gently picked her up and rushed her to our hospital. We examined her thoroughly, looking for any signs of external injuries. Thankfully, there were none, but we treated her for pain and gave her a safe, clean little kennel to rest in. We could only wait and see if there was any internal damage that might take her life.
But our hearts leapt when we saw that within minutes, her ears pricked forward, and her eyes opened wide as she surveyed her surroundings. She was curious and alert, a sign that her life force was still strong. It was a glimmer of hope that we desperately needed.
Over the next few days, we watched as she began to heal. We named her Horrera, which means “survivor” in Sanskrit. She was a fighter, and we were determined to help her overcome whatever challenges she faced.
As the days went on, Horrera grew stronger and more playful. She would chase after toys and pounce on anything that moved. Her tiny meows melted our hearts, and we knew that we had to do everything we could to ensure that she had a happy and healthy life.
Today, Horrera is thriving. She’s full of energy and mischief, and we can’t imagine our lives without her. We’re grateful for the opportunity to have saved her, and we know that there are countless other animals out there who need our help.
At Animal Aid Unlimited, we’re dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at life, no matter how small or fragile they may be.
